Recreated by a group of enthusiasts, this imaginary 1700 garden created by Sébastien Leprestre, Marquis de Vauban and his wife Jeanne d'Osay, introduces you to the vegetables and flowers of yesteryear. ‘Chenopode bon-Henri’, “plantain corne de cerf” and many others are grown here.
To discover this bucolic garden, go down into the fortifications through the Porte de Bâle, past the
straw cow by the artist Schwindy, and take the first ditch on the left that leads to the ponds.
